January Patch Notes

Patch Notes #3, its been a while.

First we must apologise - we promised regularity and have essentially done the complete opposite.

A lot has been happening, so here's a quick summary below.

Materials:

After careful consideration, we are making changes to some of our material set. This means an upgrade in terms of the raw inputs that we use to build our products.

Our locally made polyester webbing will now be replaced with an American made Mil-Spec nylon webbing, which is higher quality is an overall better performer. The blacks present as a deeper and more rich black, and the material is softer to touch, resulting in a more comfortable and visually appealing final product.

    Plus more

Product launching is staggered at the moment and we thank everyone for their patience -  we're also doing intermittent updates to our website, if you spot something that doesn't seem right, or you're looking for something that you thought was available - let us know via email and we'll see how we can assist.

Few other notes to add:

We are looking to open our factory a couple of days per week for customers to come buy their gear in person.

Custom patches are now live, we will be adding and removing colours as we have the fabric stock.

We are updating our packaging to enhance the protection and cleanliness of our gear and to improve the customer experience. We've worked hard to minimise our packaging as a way to protect the environment from unnecessary plastic - so for us it's important we're able to meet in the middle on this.

We're also looking at alternative shipping providers as we recognise during busy periods this has had an impact on customers receiving their products in a timely manner, and in some cases - not at all.

Thanks,

Team SIDESHIFT.
