Kicking off our new 'Patch Notes' page with some Gear updates,
Throughout May and June this year, we're making some key changes and updates to our range, summarised below.
Chest Rig Type 2 (Major Updates)
- Revised design (Type 2 - Mark 2) is in the works, with a likely release of Mid-June.
- We're aiming to keep the pricing the same but a potential increase may be on the cards
Modular Chest Rigs (In development)
- These are in the works, no set release date or price yet.
- We are designing these to offer a more technical, customisable rig - we're expecting for these to be in the higher cost catagory.
Peli Partitions and Packing Cubes (Major Updates)
- We have mixed feedback on the Peli Partitions overall - we are making some important changes that take this feedback into consideration.
- The 1000 Denier single layer Peli Partitions as they currently are will be discontinued and replaced with a new & improved pouch, these will be available with two size options rather than three.
- An additional version will be available in two sizes with a Clear Panel on one side for easy visibility within.
- There is potential for us to merge the current Peli Partitions with the existing Packing Cubes, if we do - we will likely split this into a LD (Light Duty) and a HD (Heavy Duty) variants, with reduced colour options (due to fabric availability), and a potential slight redesign of the packing cubes overall geometry and finish.
Monthly Quickchange Duffels (Partly discontinuing)
- Discontinuing 'monthly' colourways, reverting to single colour option
- These may be unavailable temporarily while we finalise an updated design (to include upgraded hardware)
Belt-Loops (Minor Updates)
- New batches of any product featuring the ABL (Adaptive Belt-Loop), will no longer include the small carabina loop on the top of the belt-loop. This is a fairly under-utilised function that we have decided to remove for improved comfort, and to better balance the vertical position of equipment being held by our pouches with the ABL.
Misc Products (Projected price increases)
- Some products will feature price changes in line with material & production costs.
Velcro Patches (Planned release)
- We're just finalising the design of our laser cut velcro patches. Coming in a variety of shapes, sizes, departments, phrases etc! We're super stoked about the way these are coming along and really looking forward to finally getting them out on location!
